MISSIONS

"And Jesus came and spoke to them saying, 'All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.' Amen." Matthew 28:18-20  

Calvary reaches families through missions in various ways:

• Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention (Budgeted Giving / Special Offerings) The Cooperative Program is a pooling of finances, resources and missionaries so that all Southern Baptist Churches can reach the ends of the Earth with the Gospel, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, then discipling them in God's Word.
• Women On Mission 
• Baptist Children's Home in Carmi, Illinois (Budgeted Giving/ Special Offering)
• Baptist Student Ministries (Budgeted Giving) 
• Our community: Calvary reaches out to our community in the hopes of sharing a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Whether it's Brotherhood fixing pipes and sidewalks, Women On Mission giving to the Granite City Women's Shelter, or Calvary's members donating financially to New Beginnings Pregnancy Center, the saving message of Christ is shared so lives will be eternally changed.

1. Rosewood Nursing Home - Worship Service provided every other Sunday.
2. Compassionate Friends of Madison County meet the 1st Friday, 7pm & 2nd Tuesday, 1pm to help heal after loosing a child.
3. F.A.C.E.S. Family and Classroom Educational Support ~ National early childhood education organization. Screening at Calvary. 
4. Gideon's meet in our facility the 2nd Tuesday of the month.
5. Women On Mission send cookie/goodie trays to our local Police & Fire Departments twice a year.
6. Calvary's Brotherhood reach out to our community by taking on "handyman" jobs and other projects.  
7. Pathways Ministry - Family Counseling through the Baptist Children and Family Services.
8. Chinese Bible Study led by Dr. Chiang Lin meet the 1st & 3rd Fridays of the month.
